MONTREAL, Canada: ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens and worldwide expert in immersive optical technology, announced today that March Networks’ Command™ video management software is certified ImmerVision Enables®, the leading 360-degree video standard. By adding the latest panomorph devices, Command customers can heighten response to situations by eradicating blind spots and significantly expanding their coverage with undistorted 360-degree views.

From the Command browser-based interface, customers can dive into video spanning 360×180 degrees, zooming into areas of interest within the video tile. Whether in live or playback, operators can also compare different angles of a scene side-by-side and install panomorph cameras to achieve the most suitable views for the application, whether looking down, up or horizontally out.

Support for panomorph functionality extends from the entire browser-based VMS software portfolio: Command Lite, Command Professional, and Command Enterprise. Also, ImmerVision has qualified March Networks’ MegaPX WDR IP camera for use with ImmerVision Enables lenses, further facilitating the adoption of 360-degree panomorph capability.

“Complementing new or existing installations with high megapixel panomorph cameras provides organizations with an overview of their entire space,” said Net Payne, Chief Marketing Officer at March Networks. “Our customers can save as many custom views as necessary from a single video stream with different virtual PTZ areas to maximize efficiency.”

“March Networks is at the forefront in delivering innovations that meet customers’ needs, and this certification is no exception,” said Alessandro Gasparini, CCO at ImmerVision. “They recognize the value of panomorph, adding another tool to their browser-based VMS portfolio that boosts monitoring effectiveness.”
