MONTREAL(Canada): ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens and worldwide expert in immersive optical technology, is pleased to announce that the exacqVision VMS solution now supports ImmerVision Enables panomorph lenses. The ImmerVision Enables certification gives users of exacqVision VMS the benefit of enhanced situational awareness to immediately spot threats, detect objects left behind, and simultaneously track multiple individuals when using panomorph lenses.

An ImmerVision Enables 360-degree panomorph lens can be mounted on select cameras from such leading manufacturers as Samsung, Sony and Panasonic for comprehensive visual verification of the entire surroundings. The 360-degree surround view lens removes blind spots, with greater optical image sensor coverage even on lower resolution cameras to increase surveillance effectiveness and optimize the security installation.

“The Security market seems to have quickly adopted the benefits of 360-degree viewing using panomorph lenses,” notes Dave Underwood, President, Exacq Technologies. “It makes for a great match with the exacqVision VMS software and gives our customers the option to create a unique 360-degree solution with the camera of their choice.”

“Exacq Technologies open architecture software combined with ImmerVision Enables viewing functionality, gives customers the ability to select, from a wide variety of manufacturers, the panomorph lens, camera, and enclosure most suited to meet their specific needs,” said Alessandro Gasparini, ImmerVision SVP Sales and Marketing and CCO.

Exacq Technologies will be demonstrating their ImmerVision Enables certified solution at booth #3451 during the ASIS Trade Show, being held in Orlando, FL from September 19-21.
